The Defiant M234 is a British four-valve wireless set dating from approximately 1935. It was sold through the Co-operative movement and is an interesting example of British domestic radio manufacture before the Second World War.
Unlike later Bakelite radios, the M234 has a substantial wooden cabinet and was designed as a household tabletop wireless receiver.
Service manuals for many Defiant radios are available in the Members’ Area.
