I'm in the process of adding hundreds more service manuals to the members' website. Apart from vintage valve radios, there are manuals and service sheets for car radios, car radios with cassette players, transistor radios, record players, and a host of other equipment.
RECORD PLAYER SERVICING
Servicing the popular BSR record deck is covered in the members website. The various models of BSR record decks were used by manufacturers such as Dansette, Bush, Pye, Marconi and many more. Servicing the BSR decks isn't difficult, once you know how!
I'm working on a dedicated Record Player section for the members website. This will include the famous Pye Black Box. There will be notes on servicing the amplifier as well as the BSR deck, which was often fitted to the Pye Black Box. The Garrad SP25 record deck came along later in the 1960s and many enthusiasts replaced the original deck with the Garrard deck.
