Mullard MAS183/15

Mullard MAS183/15 radio. Walnut cabinet with a dark top, a fawn speaker cloth beside a dark tuning scale and three brown knobs

The Mullard MAS183/15 is a four-valve domestic table radio produced in Britain around the beginning of the Second World War. It uses a wooden cabinet and receives Medium Wave, Long Wave and Short Wave broadcasts.

One interesting point is the Marconi MAS 183 appears to be identical to the Mullard radio. It’s also electrically identical to the Philips 206A, although the two models have different cabinets. This is all rather confusing!
